‘Say their names’ Sponsorship – $100 (109 available)
Between 1762 and 1860 there were over 100 enslaved African Americans at Rich Hill. Help our community to remember them by becoming a Say Their Name sponsor.
While several of the enslaved African Americans that were at Rich Hill never had their names recorded, every single one will be remembered. There will be a plaque for each recorded person.
Your $100 donation will engrave one of the enslaved people’s names on a solid brass plaque, that will be mounted on the interior framing of the new ghost structure, for generations to see and be remembered for many years to come.

The history of the enslaved African Americans of Rich Hill will never be in the dark again. Not only because of the efforts of the friends of Rich Hill, but also due to the new flood lights that will be installed around the ghost structure.

The journey is often more important than the place you end up. This time, however, a short walk from the parking lot to the ghost structure will prove a little harder than normal, if you are reflecting upon where you will end up. Help us to create a path from the parking lot to the ghost structure so that everyone can access it and better understand our past.

Leaving a legacy can be costly but not leaving one can cost far more. Legacy sponsorship will go directly to the production and installation of the wooden structure. Help us build the ghost house structure and leave a legacy that will make a lasting difference.
